Case Studies
Case Study No. 1
This dental implant reconstruction ended with an attractive smile and improved chewing function. Careful, precise planning by Dr. Thurston and lab technicians with porcelain bridgework gave this patient his smile back.
Case Study No. 2
Before: This patient had a long history of grinding her teeth, which led to severe wear of her dentition. She was interested in restoring all of her teeth to enhance esthetics and to improve her ability to chew. It was also important to prevent her grinding habit from destroying her teeth again.
After: A full mouth reconstruction using Dental implants, porcelain crowns, and fixed porcelain bridges were used to restore this patient's entire dentition. With careful design and planning, we were able to transform her smile and enhance her chewing ability. A thin, plastic mouth guard was made to protect his teeth from grinding during night.
Case Study No. 3: A Full Mouth, Implant Supported Reconstruction
The patient’s upper and lower teeth were removed. Six dental implants were placed into the upper and seven implants on the lower. The implants were used to support a fixed dental bridge. This transformed her smile and provided her full functionality.
Case Study No. 4
Before: This patient was unhappy with the shape, color, and spacing of her anterior teeth. She was interested in replacing these two crowns to create a more esthetic appearance.
After: Four veneers were placed on her front teeth. By changing the size of the teeth and closing the space between the teeth, a significant esthetic improvement was achieved.
